In a statement, Philippine National Police spokesperson Senior Superintendent Dionardo Carlos said the former lawmaker remained confined and is accompanied by his wife Bacoor, Cavite Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla.
Carlos said Revilla was scheduled to undergo several tests on Sunday, including blood chemistry, gastroscopy, treadmill stress test, and pulmonary function test.
Revilla was rushed to the emergency room of the PNP General Hospital on Saturday morning after vomiting inside his detention cell in Camp Crame, Quezon City.
The PNP said the former senator experienced "vomiting and severe headache and hypertension."
From the PNP General Hospital, Revilla was transferred to the St. Luke's Medical Center at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City.
The former senator is detained at the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame due to charges filed against him in connection with the multi-billion pork barrel fund scam. —ALG, GMA News
