However, several groups have expressed their concerns regarding Duterte’s ‘style’, but this obviously did not stop Duterte’s trust rating to shoot up.

According to a recent report of Phil Star, President Duterte maintained his “very good” rating in the last quarter of 2016.

Social Weather Stations (SWS) released their latest rating and showed that 77 percent of Filipinos were satisfied with the president’s performance while 13 percent were dissatisfied.

According to the reports, the survey was conducted from December 3 to 6 among 1,500 respondents nationwide. And the SWS classifies the net satisfaction ratings of +50 to +69 as “very good.”

SWS classifies net agreement scores of +50 and above as “very strong,” +30 to +49 as “strong,” +10 to +29 as “moderate,” +9 to -9 as “neutral,” -10 to -29 as “poor,” -30 to -49 as “weak”, and below -50 as “very weak.”

However, many are still concerned with the language of the President. Mindanaoans are most concerned that it can harm relations with other countries.
