How To Create Your Own DVM Widget Badge

This post was intentionally made for the members of the Duterte Volunteer Media. Dun po ito sa mga nakagawa na ng kanilang blog at gustong mag embed ng badge sa sidebar. This badge is perfect on the sidebar of your Blogger Journal or Blog.

If you have a blog and you want to get this codes, are free to used it. Ito naman po ay para sa lahat ng Pinoy bloggers kahit hindi ka member ng DVM.

Before I start the tutorial I want to show you guys how will the badge will look like on your sidebar. See the screenshot below.

Most of the members don't know how to do a blog or configure it but by the end of this post, you will realize how easy to configure and do this badge. Ok, let us start.

Step 01: Let us first select all and copy the code inside the box:



Step 02: After copying those codes, punta na po tayo sa blog post editor natin at gumawa ng bagong post. See the screen shot po.

Important Notice: Dapat po click nyo muna yung HTML button, para hindi masira yung mga codes. See image below:

Pagkatapos mai-paste yung codes, Let us now go to "Bumuo" button or the WYSIWYG mode.

Mapapansin ninyo yung Your Name Here, ihighlight o select po ninyo yun at itype ninyo yung name ninyo.

Pag nagawa mo na ito, Punta muna tayo sa Facebook account natin para kumuha ng picture. Halimbawa gusto ko yung nasa Profile page ko. Ang gagawin lang natin itutok yung mouse o cursor sa image at right click tapos COPY IMAGE ADDRESS o LOCATION para makuha natin yung picture link address.

Then go back again to our post editor and click HTML button, tapos hanapin po ninyo yung word na image link na naka open and close parenthesis, highlight o select it (the words only, do not include the close and open parenthesis or else masisira ang code natin.). 

Now paste the copied image address there.

Look at image below, this will be the address look like. The one you copied on Facebook image profile.

Kung gusto makita yung outcome o kalalabasan ng ginawa mo, change HTML mode to Bumuo mode.

There you go. Now that you are sure about the outcome and nothings wrong, click HTML mode again and let us select all and copy the code we generated.

 After you copied all the codes. Save and Close (but don't press PUBLISH) your post editor at hanapin natin sa dashboard ng blog yung LAYOUT. Nasa layout kasi makikita yung location ng sidebar widget natin. See the images:

Pagka click mo ng layout, makikita mo yung layout ng blog mo. Let us find the sidebar of our blog. Madali mo naman ito makita kasi may naka-label naman na sidebar-right. Tapos click ninyo yung "Add Gadget" or "Magdagdag ng isang Gadget".

Then hanapin mo yung HTML/Javascript at idagdag ito sa sidebar mo.

Dito mo ipaste yung code na ginawa natin kanina. At i-save mo pagkatapos.

Ok, pagkatapos nito pwede mo ng tingnan ang iyong blog kung maayos ba ang pagkakalagay ng widget, pag may problema ka at medyo nalilito ka, just comment below. And if you find this post useful, a simple Like to Our Page will do at masaya na kami dun.
